Independent approval of theofficemachinessupermarket com from Norton SafeWeb and Thawte

The chapsat www.theofficemachinessupermarket.com are really keen about your online security so as well as their website having a fully stamped SSL Certificate from Thawte (the market leading internet security company trusted by millions of people worldwide) they’ve also had the website independently checked and verified by Norton Symantec and been given the seal of approval.

What is an SSL Certificate?

An SSL certificate is a bit of code on our web server that provides security for online communications. When your web browser contacts our secured web site, the SSL certificate enables an encrypted connection. It’s kind of like James Bond encoding a message to Q back in London.

What is Norton Safe Web?

You already know that the Internet is huge and that there are online threats like viruses, phishing, and spyware on unsavoury Web sites out there—Web sites that will try to deceive you, steal your credit card numbers or passwords, or even crash your computer. So they've commissioned Symantec who own the world class internet security “SafeWeb” to audit the web site, identify any issues and report back so they can be fixed. This isn’t a one off job – they will continue to review the site and ensure your internet purchases of stationery products are 100% secure.

The eager office product providers hope details of their new internet security programme re-assures you about your online purchases of office products and that you book mark their site to make it easier to buy all your printer, presentation equipment and binding requirements again and again. You can also register for their newsletter here so that we can keep you posted with the latest offers and promotions on a regular basis.

Office Products are funny

I'm a big fan of the Ricky Gervais comedy "the Office" and since I started working in the office products industry it's become even funnier.

They really captured typical life in the office products trade in the show and I for one applaud them. At SOPX - an office products Trade Show last year they had look-a-like David Brent and Gareth wandering about.

There were stationery types who had no idea who these characters were supposed to be, if you'd had said that they worked for a Slough paper merchant half the reps would have stampeded to them business card in outstretched hand! How well received is the American version in the US of A? Any comments anyone?

I can assure you that the office here at the theofficesuppliessupermarket.com is NOTHING like the show - we are real people with fun filled lives that enjoy ourselves and in no way are any of us social misfits who are awkward in company. We do however spend a lot of our days looking at new product and negotiating the best prices to make sure yo ucan always get great deals on office products and stationery on our site - see the latest offers and promotions on all pens, paper, and everything else you need by registering for the newsletter here. You can also have a look at the on site blog here where we post details of our weekly offers.
